Goals for 2018

I just got back from PowerShell + DevOps Global Summit, and I could not be more excited to learn and improve. There are so many goals I'm almost not sure where to get started!

Here are a few:

  • Read 10 technical books this year
  • Take my PowerShell knowledge to the next level
  • Write my first PowerShell Module, and publish it on GitHub and the PowerShell Gallery
  • blog more - at least twice a month (but ideally weekly)
  • Find a PowerShell mentor and a mentee
  • Prepare my first talk
  • Go to the local PowerShell user group

In line with blogging more, I've wanted for years to move my content off of my old codecampfire blogspot. I wrestled with blogger2ghost and node.js dependency issues for a while last night, but I'll import my 80 or so blog posts from there and setup permanent redirects when time permits.

I already have several competing module ideas that have been floating around in my head for a while, so I'm excited to get started. Once I do, I'll likely share some details.
